Sherae is very active in her community as a Mentor for “Girls on The Run”, leading a Women’s Run/Walk Ministry on Sunday mornings and participating in fundraisers to support local and national Communities. Her impactful presence is felt by many through her influential leadership and compassion for others and her mission to help others reach their spiritual and personal life goals.

She is also the owner of Gifts by Journey LLC, a personalized gift basket company, where her clients tell her their thoughts and she brings them to life, by praying, listening, and then allowing God to lead her in the design.

Sherae has served in ministry for over thirty years in various capacities, on the choir, Women’s Ministry Leadership, and on the Prayer and Events Team. She is not fearful of stepping out on faith because she knows that whatever God has called her to, HE has prepared her for. Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope for a future.

She lives out her motto “from a past of shame to a future of deliverance” and has been blessed to speak to groups across the country and Internationally. It never ceases to amaze her at how God continues to use her trials and tribulations to build a platform for her ministry.

Currently, Sherae resides in Leesburg, Virginia with her husband James (Jay) of 30+ years and her dog Zori. She is the proud mother of Antonio (daughter-in-love, Jillisa) and Jazmyn, grandmother of four, Anaishija, D’Amonte, Kaiden, and Darryl and one grandchild on the way.
